Full internal strip out and refurbishment of a 6,700ft² Grade 2 Listed Building, including the construction of a double level basement on a very confined site.  The property is to become the new Military attaché’s building for the Sultanate of Oman and is located opposite the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington.

At the request of the client, the contract was split into two phases; the first of which was the construction of the double level basement, and the second for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Grade 2 Listed Building.

The refurbishment works comprised a number of structural modifications / internal re-modelling, followed by the fit out to a very high standard.  The existing fourth floor and roof has been re-modelled to provide residential apartments for short-term use by the embassy employees.The property features solid wood flooring, stone / marble wall and floor finishes, bespoke specialist joinery to the attaches offices and ground floor areas and comfort cooling throughout.
