Aldi, Herne Bay

Construction of new single storey (with rear mezzanine level) steel frame to form new 17,000sqft Aldi Supermarket shell including shopfront and entrance, exit doors, ground floor slab, roof, external cladding and new tarmac carpark.

The works involved the installation of a raft foundation to contain any ground contamination, along with a suspended ground floor slab constructed above the Flood Level Zone, prior to installing the steel frame, together with full external cladding and installation of the shopfront, entrance doors and rear goods delivery doors.

New Statutory Services of electricity, water and telecoms were also installed.

New car parking was laid with tarmac and along with external landscaping.
